How To Add Back Links To Your Website Or Blog

Adding backlinks to your website or blog is very important.

It helps to get listed in Google ... in some cases a lot of backlinks to your site or blog ensures your site appears on page 1 of Google for a number of your keywords.

They can also drive traffic to your site too!

Backlinks are simply links back to your site from another site.

One of the easiest ways to create backlinks is to comment on others peoples sites or blogs.

However ... it's not as straightforward as just finding a few sites and leaving your comment along with your URL to your site!

The reason is that some sites have what is known as a "don't follow" instruction.

This means that any URL links appearing on their site are not followed by Google's spiders so they don't registered as a backlink in Google's eyes.

What you are looking for are sites that have a "do follow" instruction within their site, Google spiders will follow these links, meaning they pick up all your backlinks.

So how do you know which sites have
"do follow" instructions and which don't?

Fortunately there is a great website that I use that lists all the sites from any keyword search term I enter that have a "do follow" instruction.

How To Edit A Website With Free Software

If you buy an ebook with resell rights or a PLR package, chances are that you want to edit the sales webpage.

You'll probably want to change the name of the signature, the address details, perhaps change $ into £, and of course you'll want to add your own payment button - usual a PayPal Buy Now button.

Now, if you don't have a HTML editor - remember I use Xsite Pro - then here are a couple of free HTML editors you can use to edit any website you want.

If you are looking for an idea for a website or blog, here's something that will work well in your local area.

The idea is for a local community website or blog.

Within this site, you'll list:

Doctors in your area
Dentists
Local Police telephone number
Late opening chemists
Refuse collection days - especially around holidays
Emergency Gas number
Bus numbers
Car parks - best ones in your are
Hospital telephone number

Plus much more ..

You'll get listed in Google for this helpful information, and to see instant traffic, you can use Google Adwords, bid on keywords such as:

"Late opening chemists (in your area)"
"Doctors surgeries in (your area)"
etc ...

BUT, you only have your Google ads showing your local area - NOT the UK or Worldwide.

This means the cost per click will be very cheap.

Revenue from the site can come from:

Google adsense
Amazon products
Banner ads

I've received some great feedback to my video idea of creating a local community based website or blog - thank you.

The main addition to the site idea is to try and get local businesses to pay for listing on your site.

So for example, you could have:

Local hotels, garages, hairdressers, plumbers, builders etc. all listed within your site, you charge them £10.00 per month ... or per 6 months depending on the amount of traffic you attract and it pays for your marketing and gives you a little extra revenue.

So, I looked into how viable one of these local sites would be for my area of Bournemouth.

How To View Google Adwords Anywhere In The World

If you want to place a Google Adword in a different country, it is a good idea to first look at the competition for the keywords you want to bid on.

But, this isn't easy as Google will only search for ads in your home Country.

To overcome this, you can use Google's own tool to view Google Adwords in other countries:

How To Build Up An Internet Business

Here's the process I use ... and many other successful online marketers use to make a lot of money online.

First thing you need is a front end product - an ebook is ideal.

This product is NOT going to make your fortune, in fact it's not even going to earn you enough money to give up your day job.

This products only function is to attract customers that you then add to your list in email/address format but preferably both.

You next need a second product that can be priced a lot higher than your front product. This is known as your back end product.

What you can do is offer the resell rights to your front end product as the back end product however, what I prefer to do is create another brand new product and also offer the resell rights for it.

So, you have your front end product, and your back end product now ready in place.

Let's suppose your charge £20.00 for your front end product and £147.00 for your back end product.

You then spend every spare bit of money and time you have heavily marketing your front end product.

This can be by using a combination of:

Google Adwords

Yahoo Adwords

Articles

Forum Comments

JV's

Direct Mail - sending an A4 teaser letter to a list directing recipients of your website

When you start building your customer database you can begin the back end product promotion.

I would send the back end product 2 weeks after your customer has received the front end product.

You can send the promotion in either email or direct mail format - or both as I prefer.

Let's look at some figures.

You spend £500.00 per week on your marketing.

This results in 30 orders per week for your front end product.

Gross income £600.00

After a month you start promoting your back end product and you send to 120 front end customers.

If you are promoting using email then your marketing costs will be zero.

If you are using direct mail, then your costs would be £36.00 postage and £30.00 printing, although I would get 2,000 A4 sales letters printed in one go and pay around £350.00.

30 people order your back end product giving you a gross income of £2,940.00.

You continue with this marketing method for 12 months.

Here's how your business could look.

Total front end customers 1,560

Gross income from front end product : 1,560 x £20.00 = £31,200

Total back end customers 360

Gross income from back end product : 360 x £147.00 = £52,920

Marketing costs : Front end marketing = £26,000

Back end marketing = £782.00

Total = £26,782

Allow £1,000 for product and posting of product, and you could be looking at a yearly profit of £25,138.00.

Once you've got this running automatically, you create a new front end and back end product and aim to earn similar amounts.

This is how successful marketers run their business.

I operate in a very similar way and earn £7,000+ per week, give it a try yourself you'll be amazed by the results.

Create An Automated Income Stream

One of the easiest ways to make money online is to create numerous automated online income streams - which will earn you money each week.

So here's how to create an automated income stream.

First, you need an autoresponder like Aweber or Get Response.

Okay, what you are going to do is build up a list of email addresses and send your list information they requested plus a link to an affiliate product such as one from Clickbank.

The subject you are going to create your automated income stream is Football Fixed Odds Betting.

You will provide football bets for your subscribers on a weekly basis (and sometimes midweek too) football tips.

This means your subscribers will actively look out for your weekly email messages, open it up and read the message.

This is important, as a lot of email marketing messages are deleted before being opened.

Because you are supplying weekly football tips your email message WILL be opened AND read.

Now don't worry about coming up with weekly football tips.

Here's how to provide just three games that your subscribers can bet on.

Each week, look at the football fixture list and you are looking for a team that is in the top 5 places playing at home a team who are in the bottom 5 places.

These teams can be in any of the Divisions.

So for example, one week you could have:

Arsenal v Hull - home win

Man Utd v Portsmouth - home win

Liverpool v Fulham - home win

And the bet is a simple treble bet, which means all three teams most win for the bet to pay out.

Create your weekly tips like this every week and you'll get a good number of winning weeks.

Next you need to create an opt-in page.

You can do this with your own website building software and host in on your webspace, or you can build a simple opt-in site using Weebly.

The opt-in page simple needs to say that you will send free weekly (and mid weekly) tips to everyone who opt-in.

The opt-in form you will create at Aweber or Get Response.

Then each week, you send the football tips to your list every Saturday morning along with a promotion for a product that you are selling as an affiliate.

Let's look for a horse racing product at Clickbank to promote to the list.



So your message could read:

Hi,

Here's this weeks free tips, I've picked out 3 games that look likely to win at home.

You should play a treble bet and mark all three games as Home Win

==============================================================

Have you wanted to win regularly at Horse Racing? Here's
a guy who wins thousands per week from betting 10p on horse races.

This weeks bet:

Do you see how it works?

Your subscribers will actively look for your free football tips email, and will see your promotion before you reveal the weekly bet.

Building Your List

The easiest way to build your list quickly is to advertise with Google Adwords.



Bid on keywords such as:

football betting
fixed odds football
fixed odds betting
football fixed odds
free football bets
free football tips
football betting tips
soccer betting
soccer fixed odds
free soccer tips

Here's an example of an advert you could use:

Free Football Tips
Receive Quality Football Tips
Completely Free - No Charge
www.Your Website.com

Another method is to write an article describing football fixed odds with a link at the bottom to your opt-in page.

Publish at Ezine Articles or Go Articles.

And the third method is to comment on betting forums with a link to your opt-in page.

This example of an automated online income really does works.

I did this last year and had 692 subscribers.

I would make approx 3 sales per week from my promotions, so I earned £70.00 gross profit per week while spending £20.00 per week on Google Adwords = £50.00 net profit.

If you create 10 of these automated income streams you could be earning £500+ per week.

Other niche subjects that you can use this method in are:

* Offer 50 Tips On Healthy Eating
* 7 Steps To Building Muscle
* 50 Money Saving Tips
* 30 Ways To Attracting men/woman

What you want to do is give your subscribers a reason to look out for your weekly email messages and actively open and read them.

Give this a go ... it really does work.

How To Attract Traffic ... And Increase Your Google Position For Your Website By Posting Comments In Forums And Blogs

Driving traffic to your website or blog is one ... if not THE most important aspect (apart from list building) to creating an online income.

I always use this method of forum and blog posting to drive traffic to my websites and blogs and increase my Google position with backlinks.

However, there are a lot of forums and blogs that don't allow you to use a signature - this is where you would place your URL for your site/blog.

Plus to get a backlink, you need to only post on forums/blogs that are Do-Follow.

Do-Follow simply means that a link on a blog/website back to your site is valued by the Google, and so they will recognise your URL and count it as a backlink to your website/blog, which really helps your Google position.

So, how do you know which forums are Google Do-Follow ones?

Simple!

I use a tool that brings up all the forums/blogs in the niche I want that are Do-Follow.

It's called Do Follow Driver.



Simply enter the keyword for the niche you want, and Do Follow Driver will search all forums/blogs and list the ones that Google Do-Follow.

These will also have High Page Rankings which means Google will view your backlinks from these sites as very relevant.

Then you click on any of the sites that are selected, read the blog or forum and comment.

Make sure you don't just say something like "excellent post" as you could be seen as spamming.

Try to make a good point, a personal experience or add some extra info to the post so that your comments will look very helpful and people are more likely to click on your link.

And gradually you'll see your website moving up the Google pages, so eventually you could see your website/blog on page 1 of Google.

One of the first pieces of advice I always give to people who are looking to create an income online is to create a blog.

You can do this using Blogger or Wordpress.

As you can see, my blog is with Blogger and it is very easy to use.

There are literally thousands of Blogs that earn their owners huge amounts of money every year.

A basic blog can earn you £10.00 per week just from Google adsense, add a couple of affiliate products from Clickbank, Amazon or DoubleTrader and you could earn £100.00 per week.

Then once you have your first blog up and running do it again with another niche subject.

I've loads of blogs online earning small amounts every week.

Here's one of mine that earns around £10.00 per week:

Try and include your main keyword within your blog title, and make sure you include interesting information.

Then write articles and post to Ezine Articles about your blog niche subject and link back to your blog.

Create a Hubpage and again link back to your blog.

Owner Darren Rowse has over 1.5 million viewers per month and earns £60,000 per year.

His income comes from Google AdSense, Text Link Ads, and Amazon Associates.

Owner Pete Cashmore has over 4 million viewers per month and earns around £1 million per year.

His income comes from advertising with banner ads costing £1,200 per week to place on his blog.



3. TechCrunch




Owner Michael Arrington has 5 million page viewers per month and makes over £1.2 million per year.

His income comes from advertising with banners costing £1,000 per week to place.



4. Gothamist



Owner Jake Dobkin has 7 million page views per month and earns £400,000 per year.

His income comes from advertising.



5. PerezHilton

Get 2,500 Clicks To You Website For Free!

I've always loved using articles to promote my website, product or to build a list.

I use a number of different article accounts for different promotions.

But just to give you an idea of the power of articles, here's a shot of one of my accounts from Ezine Articles:



As you can see, 6,500 people have viewed my articles ... but more importantly, 2,500 have actually clicked my URL link and gone to my website.

And remember, all this traffic was completely FREE!

It would cost you hundreds, if not a couple of thousand pounds to attract this much traffic from Google PPC, but from articles, once written, you can leave them to constantly drive traffic to your website, sales page or list building page.

If you don't use articles, then I highly recommend you give them a try, you'll be amazed how successful they can be.

Another Example Of One Of My Income Streams

Here's how I made £1,100.00 within 24 hours from a basic method I use all the time.

First thing I did was look through my PLR that I have on my computer.

* PLR is text or a report that you can re-brand and sell yourself.

You can buy PLR at ebay or doing a Google search.



Next I picked out a 10 page report from my PLR list about selling products using Clickbank.

And then ...

1. Re-named the PLR, created a new ebook cover, and added new content to the PLR to create a unique ebook product.

2. Added images and screen captures and re-wrote the report in a more "how to ... follow these steps ... " style and converted the book to a PDF format. You can use Open Office to convert MS Word reports to PDF.

3. I created a paypal button and priced the product £7.00.

4. I then created an up-sell offer of buying the resell rights for £27.00.

5. And then created a second up-sell offer to buy the master rights for £77.00.

6. I wrote a couple of articles to promote the book, sent an email message to one of my lists of just 438 names, and made just over £1,100.00.

It took literally 90 mins to create this product.

48 People bought the ebook

18 People bought the resell rights

4 People bought the Master Rights

I now try and create one of these every week and I make £500 - £1,000 from each one.

My House Move

Finally, I'm back online after our house move last week (15th July), we've settled in easier than I thought and our two boys even agreed which bedroom they were having - phew!

I just had to wait for my broadband to be connected at our new place, and it started working this afternoon.

So, first thing I did was just check on my income while I've been offline, and very happily I discovered that my sales have continued to come in as normal.



So, I transferred £5,000 that I had earned since the 15th July from my paypal account into my personal bank account as I wanted to buy a few items for the house ... and a small boat as we are now closer to the sea than before.

You can see the image above more clear if you click on it. It shows that I transferred £3,000 and then £2,000. I transferred the £3,000 using a laptop in a cafe using their Wi Fi.

So how did I earn this income while offline?

Simply from setting up online income streams to run automatically.

What I do is create a simple website that offers part of an ebook for free in exchange for an email address.

You can do this using Blogger or Weebly.

People then opt in, receive the free ebook section, then I follow up with an offer to buy the whole ebook if they liked what they've read so far - and many do.

Then a few days later I offer the resell rights to the ebook - again many people take up this offer as they enjoyed the ebook and can see it selling well.

I then offer other ebooks, more resell rights etc to the list ... and so on ...

All the sales offers are sent automatically using Aweber and all the payments are collected using PayPal.

And this one simple income stream earns over £500 per week ... and I've three of these running just in the US.

I've others running in the UK, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa - yes my internet operation is literally a global venture run from my small home office.

So, to do the same yourself, you need:

1. An ebook - preferably your own

2. An autoresponder to build your list

3. Back end products (more ebooks)

4. A simple website

How To Make Money Selling Amazon Products

Here's a simple way to make a little extra cash from selling Amazon products.



Firstly, you need to open an Amazon Associates Account - click here.

It takes a few days for Amazon to open up an account so please be patient.

Once you have an Associates Account you can start to find products to promote.

Keep your eyes open for any trends, articles in newspapers or magazines about products, best selling items in book shops etc.

Once you've got a list of potential products, you need to do some keyword research.

You are looking for keywords/keyphrases with at least 1,000 searches per month and less that 250,000 competing sites.

Use Google's keyword tool for this.

Next you need to create an account with HubPages.



Once you've created an account with Hubpages you can start to write your first Hub.

You need to write a review of the product you are promoting. Try to include the product name that your are promoting via Amazon in the Hubpage name.

Then write an article review of about 400 words mentioning your main keyword (this could be just the product name) within the article.

Try to also include a picture within the article of the product you are reviewing.

Then set up the link to Amazon - full details are given at the HubPages website.

And once you are indexed into Google (takes about a week or so) you should start seeing some traffic to your Hubpage.

If you join Google Adsense you can also benefit from Adsense income within your Hubpage.

Then once you've created your first Hubpage, create another reviewing a similar product and then link all your Hubpages together.

Then write an article review of products you are promoting (make sure the wording is slightly different to your hubpage content) and submit it to Ezine Articles.

Create about about 20 of these Hubs, and write a few articles linking the articles to your Hubs and within a few weeks you'll start to see income come in from Amazon sales and Google Adsense.

This will be automated income and the more Hubpages you create, the more you earn.

I've Returned From Holiday With Loads Of New Ideas

I've just returned from a lovely 8 days away in Alcudia, Majorca with my beautiful wife Charlotte.



Our two boys were looked after by their grandparents - thank you Mum and Dad - which gave us some very rare time on our own.

What this also meant was that I could concentrate on new ideas for my business. I find that while on holiday I can literally plan the next 6 months expansion of my business.

I NEVER travel anywhere without a good notebook and a few pens.

Try this yourself if you go away this summer. It is amazing what a change of scenery does for your creative ideas.

For example, I'm currently putting together my first ever mentoring program - should be launched in the next week or so - and I was stuck with one or two sections.

But after a few hours lounging in the sun, I not only came up with more than enough solutions, I actually put together a whole new section for the mentoring course that I would never have included had I been at home in my office.

But, you don't have to travel abroad for inspiration.

I've used this technique of getting away from everyday distractions and clear my mind to come up with some great product or business development ideas on many occasions.

Sometimes when I'm trying to write a report or ebook, I pack my laptop and head down to my local Caffe Nero for the afternoon.

There I don't have any internet or email distractions, I simply concentrate on writing or planning business development ideas.

The same thing happens while I drive long distances. It's amazing what ideas you develop while driving along a motorway!

Try it yourself, you'll be amazed by the results you can achieve.

Why Selling Your Product In Monthly Parts Is More Profitable

This is a method that is used successfully by many successful marketers ... but is often over-looked by many others.

Let's say you had an information product / ebook of 200 pages in length.

You currently sell this product for £67.00.

Now, if you split your product into 10 parts/lessons of 20 pages each, you could then charge £19.97 per lesson.

This means - if subscribers stay with you - your £67.00 product is now worth £199.70 - 3 x the value.

Andrew Reynolds is a perfect example of using this method to sell his Cash On Demand product.

He sells each monthly lesson/ module for £29.95. This product could easily be sold for £97.00 for the full course, but Andrew has identified the more lucrative approach. This means he earns £359.40 per year from each customer - and he most certainly has a few thousand monthly customers.

As he is posting the modules to his customers on a monthly basic, this gives him the opportunity to include other offers within the mailing.

A few years ago when I ran an information publishing business, one of my competitors - Stuart Goldsmith - did exactly the same with his Inner Circle product.

He charged £19.97 per lesson and it went on for 12 lessons.

At his peak Stuart had over 10,000 subscribers paying him £19.97 per month - £199,700 per month - no wonder Stuart retired a few years ago with a £20 million fortune.



With Paypal now offering subscription payment buttons to include within your website and Clickbank also offering subscription payments, there has never been a better time to seriously consider whether your 200 page ebook could actually be sold for £20.00 per month.

Internet Success Examples

I always enjoy reading/learning about how others have made plenty of money from their own Internet business.

I'm not talking about the owners of Google, Yahoo, eBay or Amazon who are all Billionaires, what I like to read about are success stories of people who have created an internet business and it has grown into a business that earns them £100,000+ per year.

There are a few examples I've discovered of UK based business, and a lot more from US based businesses.

Here's some of the businesses that I have read about over the past year or so:

Make £6,575 Within A Week!

There will be no padding with this posting, I'll just run through exactly what you need to do to start earning money online.

Here goes:

1. First get yourself an ebook or videos to sell - your own creation or buy the resell rights to a good one.

2. Create a website for the product - it's best if you can do it yourself - I use Xsite Pro for my sites, or you can use this free tool: WYSIWYG

3. Open an account with Aweber.

4. Create a squeeze page using your website design software, and include an opt in form that you create at Aweber.

5. Give away the first chapter of your ebook to all who opt in to your list via your squeeze page.

6. Spend 100% of your time / money promoting your squeeze page - articles, forum postings, PPC, press advertising and direct mail.

7. Set up autoresponder messages using Aweber

These messages will be a mixture of free useful information and then a sales link to your website.

So your messages could be:

1. Free chapter
2. Free information
3. Promo link to your website sales page
4. Free information
5. Free information
6. Promo link to your website sales page

Your free information can be sourced from Ezine Articles.

7. Create a second product or offer the resell rights to your first product - assuming you have the right to do this, no problem if you own the copyright to your product.

This will be your back end product that you offer to your customers.

8. Do the same with another niche subject - create a product, build a sales page and squeeze page, promote the squeeze page, build up your list etc etc

And that is how the successful Internet marketers make £5,000 - £50,000 per week online!

Once you become successful, you can outsource all this work to others while you simply think up new ideas for your business.

Robert Evans' 17 Google PPC Secrets

Like thousands of other online marketers, I use Google Pay Per Click (PPC) to attract traffic to my sites or to build up lists.



Over the years, I've tested many different techniques, and I now have a great deal of valuable information on what works best with PPC and what doesn't.

AND! I'm going to share some of my data with you so that you can apply these secrets to your PPC campaigns and increase your Click Through Rate (CTR) which helps to reduce your Cost Per Click Rate that Google charge you every time someone clicks on your advert.

So, are you ready?

Here's 17 of my TOP Google PPC secrets:

1. Always test two adverts, then keep the best performing and re-write the other after a few days of testing.

2. Always try and include your keywords within your advert headline.

3. Only use a small number of keywords for each ad group, and make sure your advert is relevant for each set of keywords - the vast majority of PPC advertisers fail to group their ads and keywords correctly.

4. Try and use these words in your advert:

How To
Here
Easy
Free
Tips
Now
Killer
Instantly

5. Use a (?) question mark in your headline.

6. Try and use a keyword in your display URL.

For example, your display URL could be : www.YourWebsite.co.uk/mainkeyword

7. Use CAPITALS in your display URL. So don't write: www.yourwebsiteonline.co.uk, write: www.YourWebsiteOnline.co.uk

8. Don't use an explanation mark (!) in your advert.

9. Try and use this line in your advert:

Did you know that (keyword) could / are (your main benefit)

So your advert could say:

Wedding Speeches Are Easy
Did you know that wedding Speeches
are easy to write.
www.WeddingSpeechesOnline.com

10. Test short advert copy against long copy - sometimes a short to the point type advert works best.

11. Put benefits ahead of features in your advert.

For example, if you were advertising paint.

You advert could look like this (the keyword is "exterior paint":

25 Year Guarantee
www.ExteriorPaintOnline.co.uk

12. Test a question in your headline.

For example, test these headings:

Vitamin E Tablets

against

What Is Vitamin E?

13. Try and include the word "Guaranteed" in your advert.

14. Include prices with your advert to save your click money. If you make it clear how much your product / service is, then only people who are interested will click on your advert.

15. Test a call to action in your advert.

Google won't allow you to use the words: "Click Here"

But you can use the word: "Here"

So, for example:

Free Quote, Here.
www.YourSite.com

16. If your budget is small, don't advertise 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Try advertising Friday to Monday, and from 5.00pm to 3.00am

17. Tell readers what to do.

If you were advertising a TV,

Use words like:

"Read this before you order"

"View here before you buy"

"Check this out first"

and add the words: for best deal / price"

So, you advert could read:

Sony DR432 TV
View Here Before You Buy

How To Use OTO Offers To Build Your Mailing List

One Time Offers, in short OTO’s, are special offers that you present to your customers and prospects while they are ready to spend money in a sales process.

What make OTO offers so special is their uniqueness and the time pressure.

When you are buying an ebook for example, you may be presented with a OTO offer just before you are ready to type in your card number to buy DVD’s that compliment the ebook at a special price that is only available this one time, and you’ll never see it again.

Many marketers use OTO’s to increase their weekly income with great success.

But what I also do is use OTO offers to rapidly build up mailing lists.

Here’s what I do:

I first acquire the resell rights to an ebook for the particular niche market that I’m concentrating one.

eBay are a good source for resell rights.

Then I create an opt-in page where people can sign up to my mailing list, and in return they will receive the ebook free.



Once they add their name and email address in the opt-in boxes, they are then taken to a page that offers an OTO offer. This usually is resell rights to the ebook.

So, for just signing up to my list, subscribers will receive a free ebook. However, they could also acquire the resell rights to the ebook for just £4.00.



From my own marketing campaign figures, they show that 1 in 7 subscribers buy the resell rights to the ebook.

This means I make £4.00 from every 7 subscribers.

Now, what this then enables me to do is offset the cost of my PPC campaign that I use to build up a mailing list.

So if I pay 40p per click, I can attract 10 clicks and usually within those 10 clicks, I will receive an order.

This means I’m effectively building my list for very little marketing costs.

What’s more I also use my opt-in page URL address in signatures whenever I respond in a forum, and I write articles that also include the op-in address.

If you’ve never tried OTO offers in your marketing campaign, give them a go, as they are proven to work.

Done right, and you can build up a mailing list very quickly with very little costs, where you can then market your products/services to your subscriber list.

The Secrets Amanda O'Brien Used To Promote Her Brand New Study Course.

Driving traffic to your website – especially if it has been set up specifically to sell a brand new product – is a challenge as your site won’t rank highly in the search engines.

So you have to become a bit creative, even more so if you want to drive free traffic to your site.

Amanda O’Brien was faced with this challenge only recently with the launch of her brand new home study course ‘The £2,500 Per Week eBay Powersellers Secrets’.



I wrote about this study course in my blog recently. Basically I challenged Amanda to teach me how to create a full time income from selling on eBay.

Within a few weeks, I now make over £2,500 per month from eBay.

I found it very easy to submit my press releases to the online PR sites – they all have roughly the same format so it was a case of ‘copy and paste’, however some will allow you to upload a photograph and use links in the body of your release, some won’t.

I was also careful to change my headline slightly for each submission to avoid repeat content. Most of the sites took between 3 and 7 days to review my press release before publishing and I found that of the 25 I submitted, all but 4 have been published and are searchable online.

Certainly the quickest PR sites to submit to are those that do not require you to login and become a member as they review and publish almost immediately – a handy list of free and paid PR sites can be found at www.PressReleasePoint.Com

Also, because each of my online press releases included a link to my website it was also providing those all important back-links that Google loves, again increasing my search engine ranking.

It was from one of these press releases that a journalist from a monthly glossy magazine contacted me, asking for an interview – more great free publicity for ‘The £2,500 Per Week eBay Powersellers Secrets’

Meanwhile, I also posted out my press release and a photograph of me with my book (hard copy and on disk) the old fashioned way to all of the local newspapers within my immediate area. I found these by searching at Media UK where I found the newspapers, their addresses and even in some cases the Editors name, so I knew exactly who to write to!

The result was that two articles including photographs and website details were published in the respective newspapers and one also added all the information to their online newspaper giving me, my book and most importantly my website vital coverage and all for free!

PR sites have ever changing and updated content and are crawled by search engines very regularly. This means that finding a newsworthy angle for your product is definitely a must if you want to get news about your product out to people quickly. It can also result in a snowball effect of more great free publicity in the media as journalists pick up your story.”

This is great advice from Amanda. So if you have an ebook, study course or DVD’s that you are trying to sell, then gaining free publicity from press releases is a great method to use.

Thanks to Amanda’s marketing efforts, her eBay study course been bought by hundreds of people.

Why The Most Obvious Subject Titles Could Make You Money

Get the idea?

Once you have an idea, write it (or get someone from Elance to write it for you) in MS Word then convert it into a PDF format.

Just Google "convert to pdf" for a free tool - there are loads available.

Then create a simple website or blog to promote your ebook.

Charge around £12.97 for the ebook. Use PayPal to collect the payments.

Do some keyword research using Google's Keyword Tool, set up a PPC campaign with Google and see how it goes.

You'll be surprised how many people use Google to find a solution to a problem, and ebooks are a great way to take advantage of this.

I'm On My Way To Earning £9,000 Per Month On eBay!

Within the next 2 months I'll be earning £9,000 per month from eBay.

Since Starting, I Already Make £950.00 Per Month … With ZERO Experience … From eBay Selling Just One Product ... and I continue to earn this every month!

I’ve always wanted to try my luck with eBay. Now, I’m not talking about selling unwanted items that I find hidden away in the attic, no, what I wanted was a brand new product that I could list on eBay, it would then produce sales automatically and I would simply pop the product in a jiffy bag and post to the customer.

Because I didn’t have the first idea about what would sell well on eBay, I decided to contact a number of eBay PowerSellers.

I wrote to 10 PowerSellers asking if they would be prepared to teach me how to sell successfully on eBay and in return I would not only share my early profits with them, but I would recommend them to others who wanted to learn the secrets.

Anyway, to cut a long story short ... I had ONE respondent! Yep, out of ten, only one person contacted me.

Her name was Amanda O’Brien, based in Worcester (UK) she has been selling items on eBay for over 4 years.

And she now earns a staggering £2,500 per week selling products on eBay.

So, we agreed that she would help me create an income using eBay and if successful, I would certainly tell others.

So What Product Do I Sell?

Amanda suggested Health & Beauty as the category to concentrate on as this is a huge market.

She showed me exactly how to research the category and narrow it down to the sub-category: Health Care.

Again, with her help and advice I saw that the second largest category within Health Care was: Quitting Smoking.

So I opened this category.

With over 2000 results showing, Amanda was sure that this would be a good category to sell in, and this was confirmed when I looked at the number of purchases made from some of the listings on page 1 of eBay.

Sellers were selling between 10 and 15 items a day from their listings, with the most popular product being e-cigarettes which were selling from £28.99 upwards.



So Amanda suggested I sell a product called Premium e-cigarettes. This is a device that helps you quit smoking ... or is simply better than the real thing for your health.

The next thing Amanda did was give me details of her supplier where I could buy my e-cigarette stock from.

The cost for me to purchase a tester quantity of 25 of these e-cigarettes including shipping to the UK was £415.12, which worked out at £16.60 per unit, but I already knew that this same product was selling on eBay for between £28.99 and £54.99.

The stock took about 10 days to arrive and in the meantime I worked on my eBay listing with Amanda’s help and advice.

I didn’t even have to take my own photographs of the product because the supplier was happy for pictures from their website to be used to advertise the products!

As my e-cigarette was slightly different to some of the others on eBay, I decided to sell at £24.99 plus £4.99 postage – a total of £29.98, which after I had deducted all my costs (stock, ebay fees, PayPal fees, postage, packaging) gave me a profit per unit of £7.92.

As I had only ordered 25 units as a tester, Amanda showed my how to run the Buy It Now listing over 10 days.

Incredibly I had sold out by Day 6!

My daily sales average was 4 units per day or £31.68 profit per day.

I now roll out this product on a continual basis and I’m making a monthly profit of approx £950.00.

Remember, this profit is only from one product line and Amanda is currently helping me select another 10 different products to list all making around the same profit.

My goal is to achieve a monthly profit of £9,000 and I’m well on my way.

I must say, I couldn’t have done any of this without Amanda’s help and advice.

Learning how she narrows down a product is fascinating, and with her supply contacts I can literally source any product I want to then list on eBay.

The Story Of Robert Evans

Everyday people contact me who are just starting out on their own with a new business venture asking for advice, so I thought you'd like to read a quick history of my business career.

Back in 1994 I was literally in a dead end job - yep I know a lot of sales letters start with these lines, but mine is true - working 9 - 5 earning about £220.00 a week.

For extra cash I started selling items at car boot sales, and gradually started to do quite well earning £50.00 on a Sunday morning.

I'm not sure where the idea came from, but I decided to write down how I make £50.00 per week from car boot sales in the form of a manual.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I had a manual of 60 pages and a regular advert in Exchange and Mart.

My sales where about 50 manuals per week for this £12.99 product.

I was advertising next to other guys in EX & Mart who had just started out such as:

Andrew Reynolds,

Streetwise Marketing

Stuart Goldsmith (Medina Ltd)

David Anderson (Pulse Marketing)

... and a few others

I then wrote a 2nd manual on selling information by advertising in Exchange and Mart - do you see how I simply created products from my own personal experience.

Anyway, this product grow and grow as the industry changed and it ended up being a 6 part study course.

I continued to advertise in Exchange and Mart, The Trader, Daltons Weekly and a number of small Business Opportunity magazines that no longer exist.

As well as that product, I wrote others such as How To Build A Database, Make Money From List Rental, Make Money From Import/Export, How To Start Your Own Football Tipster Service ... and many others.

As I was building up a large mailing list, I could also do direct mail campaigns.

Firstly to my list of buyers, then I started to rent lists from Hilite and a few other list brokers.

My little home business was at this stage making me about £30,000 a year!

I had already left my job a few months earlier and concentrated on the business.

Now, I had two choices.

I could continue where I was and earn around £30,000 per year from home working just a few hours per week ... or I could really go for it and try and earn as much money as I could.

Guess what I did?

Yep! I decided to go for it ... and try and earn a Million!

Here's what I did:

I found a writer from a Writers Magazine who was creating products for me on a monthly basis, a designer and copywriter to do the sales literature and a printer/mailing house.

I invested my profits into the business, so instead of earning £30,000 from home with a few products, I went right down to paying myself just £9,000 a year and invested the £21,000+ into expanding the business.

This was mostly direct marketing campaigns.

At my peak, I was mailing over 20,000 sales pieces a month!

Fast forward to the year 2000 and I had moved into a purpose built office space, had over 28,000 customers .... AND was turning over £500,000 per year!

Here's a couple of pictures from my office back in 1999 - as you can see I wasn't the most organised of people.



You'll also see in the picture all the boxes that contained sales literature and products - manuals and Ring Binder Study Courses.

I had an inserting machine, a folding machine, two photcopiers and a machine that printed addresses onto envelopes, lables or order forms.

This one below is of my desk.



I had a direct contact with the Royal Mail who would come to my office every afternoon to collect all my mail - yes my own postman!

I started to pay myself more and more as the business grow and grow.

I continued to expand the business until 2006 when I decided I'd had enough of running a full time publishing business.

I had a number of employees, worked 10 hours a day and was paying myself over £100,000 per year.

The business was really successful and could have continued for years ... but I'd earned a lot of money and just fancied a change.

So a couple of years ago I decided to stop running my publishing business and start to look at making money online.

Again, I bought loads of products, self taught myself, and wrote a manual on my methods - Rich Monkey.

Since then, I've created this blog, done a number of JV's ... and basically help and advise others who are trying to create their own business/income.

My success has all been down to Information Publishing. It is one of the easiest businesses to set up and now with the internet, the market place is HUGE!

PPC Search Content

If you use PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing with Google you’ll know that you need to be constantly monitoring your campaigns.

I’ve used PPC for 2 years now and although I make a very nice weekly profit from all my campaigns, I’m always looking for new ideas and methods.

For a long time, I used to just concentrate on Google Search rather than Google Content.

With Google Search Marketing my ads will show when people search for certain keywords / keyword phrases that I’ve bid on.

Google content is where your ads will show on other people’s web sites that accept Google Adsense.

Here's an example from ebay's site:



Recently I’ve started to try Google Content, and from my early tests I’m more than happy with the results.

One of the main advantages is that your ad is not competing with loads of other ads and SEO results on Google’s page.

With Content Marketing, your ad could be next to just 2 or 3 other ads.

Plus, relevance doesn’t matter either with your ads.

With Google Search, your ads and landing pages (the web page that people go to after clicking on your advert) need to be relevant to the keywords you are bidding on or Google will punish you with higher costs and place you lower down the page.

With Content Marketing you can write any advert you want and bid for keywords that you want that may not be as relevant as required on Google Search.

If you are wanting to give this a go yourself, you need to create a new campaign just for Google Content.

DON’T run Google Search and Content campaigns together, create separate campaigns so that you can compare the different traffic.

Your adverts need to be different too.

This form of marketing works really well when promoting clickbank products.

Let’s say you are promoting an ebook from Clickbank on making money filling out Surveys.

Your advert for Google Search could read:

Make Money From Surveys
Quick and easy surveys to complete.
Earn £10.00 per survey
www.yourwebsite.com

Your advert for Google Content could read:

Earn £10.00 Per Hour
Easy work, no upfront fee
Suit all ages
www.yourwebsite.com

Do you see the difference?

The first advert has to be relevant to the search term "Surveys" and you are only getting traffic from people who are specifically looking for information on surveys, whereas the second advert will appeal to anyone who would like to earn extra income.

Give it a try, make sure you separate the different marketing formats, compare traffic and sales and see whether your results match mine – which are very worthwhile.

Give Away Part Of Your Ebook To Attract More Sales

Yes, you read correctly, giving away part of your ebook will increase sales.

What you need to do is pick out a few good bits of helpful information within your ebook and create a mini report of 10 - 14 pages.

You could just select a chapter, but I like to really wet readers appetites with some good information that will make readers want to order the main product.

Also make sure your website address or blog address for your main product is included on EVERY PAGE of the report.

To use this method correctly you need to have a list builder. I use Aweber which is perfect for my needs.

Then you need to create a squeeze page.

Here's an example of a squeeze page



Basically you collect a visitors name and email address in exchange for the free report.

Once someone enters their details, they can download the free report.

You'll need webspace to store the report and you can create a squeeze page using a blog site if you are not too good with website design.

Next you need traffic.

The two best methods for traffic are Article Marketing and Forum Posting.

With articles, you can again include some really good information from your ebook within your article and include a link to your squeeze page at the bottom.

With Forum Posting, for Internet Marketing I use Warrior. From my postings, I receive 10 - 20 new subscribers everyday.



When you set up a user name for the forum you can add a signature. This is a little bit of text and a link to your squeeze page.

For example, say I had an ebook on list building, and a free report on my squeeze page, I would write something like this for my signature:

10 FREE methods I use to build a list of 1,000 subscribers within a month!

Then once you start to build a list of people who download your free report, you start to send them messages about if they liked the free report, then your ebook is much more in depth and covers even more methods and information.

This method is used all the time by successful marketers and it really is a great way to attract sales for your ebook.

You could do the same if you had DVD's to sell. Just give away the first DVD and try and market the remaining DVD's to your list.

The Power Of Article Marketing

I use article marketing all the time to attract quality free traffic to my websites and blogs.

You'll see that I've got 2 articles published that have been viewed 512 times, HOWEVER, you'll see that my URL (link to my website) has been clicked 813 times!

Now, imagine how much it would cost to buy 813 clicks from Google?

Make Money Out Of Celebrity Websites

Celebrity websites are more popular than ever.

Thousands of people visit these websites everyday, and you should get in the action.

Celebrities are anyone who's in the print media, on TV, sport stars, pop / rock stars and reality stars.

Big Brother contestants are always good for websites. Although they are only in the limelight for a few months, they generate a huge amount of interest while Big Brother is on TV.

You'll see that the designer has included an ebay live auction and an Amazon link within the site.

Again the designer has included ebay and Amazon links. I would also add Google Adsense to the sites.

These websites don't need to be huge productions. You can get one created by a designer at Elance for £50.00.

If you spot a rising celebrity - check out all the reality tv shows, read the lads mags, Heat magazine etc ... to get ideas - get a quick website set up and you could be earning money for months.

Then, once you've got some good stats for the website you could then sell it on for more profit and move onto the next person who will enjoy their 10 mins of fame.

Try and get the domain that mentions the celebrity's name within and add "unofficial" at the beginning.

Earn Money Simply By Providing Answers To Questions

I've just return from a 2 week break in America.

We picked a good fortnight, what with Barack Obama's inauguration and the Super Bowl both happening while we were away, it made watching a little US TV really interesting.

What I noticed a lot was the kind of adverts that appear on US TV. There are a lot about medical problems, well-being, DIY, lawyers, healthy eating - in fact problem solving topics.

This reminded me about an automated income stream that I have running and earns me about £100.00 per week.

It's all to do with answering questions.

For example, someone goes online and types this question:

My neighbour keeps playing loud music through the night, what can I do?

What I've done is set up a basic site where people can submit neighbour problems.

If someone submits a question to an expert and agrees to pay for this one-to-one advice, then I receive 20% of the fee.

Typical fees are $15.00 (£10.00) so I only receive £2.00 per sale.

However I've set up loads of these sites with question boxes to cover all sorts of problems.

My biggest earner is medical problems, I advertise my medical site in the US and earn money each week from questions being answered.

So, if you are interested in this income stream, here's what you need to do.

First go to www.justanswer.com and register as an affiliate - the link is at the bottom of their page.



Once you've signed up, simply create websites that will contain the question box.

I use Blogger.com for all of my sites.

Insert the question box code that JustAnswers gives you and you are all set.

How To Make £100 Minimum From A Simple Blog Or Website … And You Can Create 10+ Per Week!

This is an easy method that I use all the time to earn £100 - £500 per week from 1 – 2 hours work.

Here’s what I do:

1. I create a blog for a niche – I’ll give you the niches in a minute.

2. I find PLR (public label rights – copyright free) for the niche subject blog

3. I then paste the PLR as posts on my blog over a 2 week period

4. I add Google adsense to the blog

5. I look for a couple of Clickbank products that are associated with the blog and have their links on the blog with my hop link (affiliate code) included.

6. I create an email capture and offer some free information in exchange for an email address – I use www.aweber.com

7. I promote the blog using socialmarker.com that sends my blog information to the most popular social networks.

8. I also use some of the blog posts as articles and publish them at www.ezinearticles.com

9. After a couple of weeks, I then list the blog for sale and inform my list that the blog is for sale. I usually set it at a BIN (buy it now) price of £100.00, - although I do accept bids for some blogs and I’ve sold some for over £500.00.

It takes 1 hour to create a blog, and I simply post the PLR information each day which takes about 10 mins.

Just creating a couple of these a week helps pay the weekly bills.

Another method – which again I use – is to buy the resell master rights for an ebook (this means I can sell the product with resell rights to others), then create a simple website, include a paypal “Buy It Now” button, promote it using PPC to create a few sales, and then list the site for sale.

So what niches should you be concentrating on?

Dating

It is best to dig further within the niche. So use the Google tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and look for a section of the niche that you can concentrate on.

For example, under the niche Weight Loss, you could concentrate on reducing fat on your arms – known as bingo wings – which is always a worry for a lot of woman.



Once you’ve picked your niche, select 10 – 15 keywords that have between 1,000 and 10,000 competing pages within Google.

Simply Google your keyword [use brackets] and see how many pages are listed.

Once you have your keywords, you are all set to create your blog or website.

Try to include your keywords throughout your blog or website as much as possible – but don’t over do it!

One of the most common questions I get asked is this: "How do I set up an automated income stream?"

So what I've done is recorded a short video to show how I set up an automated income stream and how you can copy exactly what I do.

The Cheapest Way To Get Traffic To Your Website

One of the most popular questions I get asked is this:

"How do I get traffic to my website so that people will buy my product?"

So let's say you have a set of DVD's about making money online from affiliate marketing which sells for £47.00.

You set up a simple website with a Buy Now PayPal button, and start your marketing.

Now, the route most people take is to do some keyword research, build up a list of keywords, open a campaign with Google PPC and start to bid on the keywords.

First problem you'll have is that you'll find that keywords in the "make money online" niche cost between 50p and £2.50.

Let's suppose you decide to bid £1.00 per click.

You let your campaign run for a day or so until you've spent £200.00 and received 200 clicks.

From this, you've received 2 orders - a 1% response rate.

So you've taken £94.00, but spent £200.00 on advertising and £10.00 on fulfilment.

Not very good business.

So what would I do?

I would write an A4 teaser letter that describes the benefits of the DVD's and includes the address for the website.

Get 1,000 teaser letters printed in a single colour for £75.00.

Rent a list of proven buyers for £100.00

Buy 1,000 DL envelopes - £25.00

Mail the 1,000 letters - £270.00 (although I pay £240.00 as I have an account with Royal Mail)

My total costs = £440.00

And from this mailing I also receive a 1% response rate = 10 orders.

So, I would not make any money from this mailing, however, I've added 10 actual buyers to my list instead of 2 that I would receive from online PPC marketing.

Now, because I've proven that this method works, I would then mail 5,000 items.

My costs would be as follows:

Printing - £250.00

Envelopes - £120.00

List rental - £500.00

Postage - £1,200

My total costs = £2,070.00

1% orders = 50 x £47.00 = £2,350.00

Now, from this 2nd mailing I'm in profit ... however more importantly I've added a further 50 buyers to my list.

I'll do the 5,000 mailing again, and build up a list of 110 actual buyers.

Then I would mail them details of my back end product which costs £197.00.

From those 110 buyers, 7 order, netting me £985.00.

My marketing costs to just 110 people was a measly £100.00.

Now, is this all starting to make sense?

Imagine you had 10 different front end products all attracting a 1% response rate, and you had 5 different back end products.

Can you see how this is now becoming more interesting?

Sure is ... and it's exactly how I run my publishing business and earn over £100,000 per year.

Why not start to plan ahead and make this YOUR MOST IMPORTANT New Years resolution.

How To Save YouTube Videos Onto Your Computer

I'm sure you've found a video on YouTube that was helpful and informative - not the videos that teenagers love to post - I'm referring to video's that give you advice on:

How To See Who Visits Your Website Or Blog

If you have a website or blog, then it is very important to know:

1. How many visitors you receive each day

2. Where they came from - links, search engines

3. What keywords they used

4. How long they stayed on your site

5. Which pages they viewed

Knowing which keywords work best has enabled me to understand what people are looking for.

For example, on this blog I've added a free headline file for anyone to use to create their own headlines.

I did have a post about writing headlines, but found most people found me from looking for actual headline examples.

So, I removed the post and supplied the information people really wanted - a file full of actual headlines.

Everyday, I know how many people visit this site, what keywords they used to get here and how long they stayed on the site.

This information is valuable for creating other sites as I already know which keywords work best.

There are a number of places to get this information about your site.

Google Analytics is good, but I've found Stat Counter to be more than adequate.

You can insert Stat Counter on your website or blog.

How To Phrase Match and Exact Match Your Keywords

When advertising with Google - PPC - I'm sure you know the importance of broad matched keywords, phrased matched keywords and exact matched keywords.

For example:

This keyword:

holidays abroad
"holidays abroad"
{holidays abroad}

Is now broad, phrase and exact matched.

Phrased matched keywords have " " around them, exact match keywords have { } around them.

Now, imagine if you have 100 keywords and you wanted to phrase and exact match them all before inserting them into your Google ad campaign.

It'll take an hour or so or tediuos work.

Not anymore.

Always Keep In Touch With Your Customers

... And potential customers.

It is vitally important that you stay in touch with your customers.

Just a simple email making sure they received their order and that they can contact you if they require any further help or advice, will do.

I always answer my emails and help out where I can.

It's the same with potential customers, on many occasions someone has emailed me - usually just a simple question about my product - and I reply asap, they then go a head and order.

For the effort of answering emails, I convert potential customers into paying customers all the time.

And, once I've replied, I get a message back usually beginning with:

"Thanks Rob for getting back to me.

Most people never reply to their email messages and if they can't be bothered to reply I never order from them".

It just goes to show how many missed orders are out there.

So, if you have a website or blog, make sure it is easy for people to contact you.

Usually they just want to reassure themselves that you exist and are not going to disappear with their money, or a simple question like: "is your product downloadable?"

If you already follow this method - great! I'm sure you can see the benefits, if not, change the way you conduct business today - you'll be amazed how many more orders you'll receive.

Write a preview about the product you are promoting on your blog - take the info from the sales letter of the product.

Include your Clickbank affiliate link at the bottom of the preview on your blog.

Write a couple of articles describing the product, then include a link in your article to link back to your blog.

Submit the articles to www.ezinearticles.com

And repeat the process.

Yes, there is a little work involved, but once everything is set up, you simply leave it to earn money.

You should earn £10.00 per week from each of your promotions, but if you create just 1 a day, within a month you could be earning £300+ per week online ... and then there is nothing to stop you creating many more.

Then you write an ebook about what you've done and sell this for £27.00

Then you offer resell rights to this ebook for £197.00

... and do it all over again.

How To Add Wordpress To Your Website

Blogs are a great way to attract traffic, build up a business relationship with your potential customers and promote your products.

The two most popular blog systems are:

Blogger - which I use

Wordpress

I'll be moving my blog over to Wordpress within the next month or so as there are so many more features/add-ons that you can use which are simply not available with Blogger.

If you want to start a Wordpress blog, and you already have a website or just some webspace and domain, you can load Wordpress directly onto your webspace.

This means you can have your blog appear when someone types: www.yourwebsite.com/blog or set Wordpress up so that when someone types www.yourwebsite.com your blog appears.

This means that if you are not very good at creating a website, then creating a Wordpress blog will be just as good - if not better!

So how to you load Wordpress onto your webspace?

It's actually quite easy, and I've found a very helpful video that explains everything - step by step - including setting up a password protected section of your blog.

You can do everything in less than 12 mins - it took me 6 mins to set mine up.

How To Use Articles To Build Your List

I'm sure you don't need me to tell you how important a list is to your online and offline success.

But it's all very well me telling you this without giving you some tips on how to build a list ... so here goes.

Firstly, you need a service that collects your email addresses, builds and stores your valuable list.

I use Aweber for this and I'm more than happy with the service they provide.

Aweber also send out messages to my list.

Once you have an account with Aweber you need to design a simple squeeze page.

Here's an example below:



Here the owner gives away a free guide in exchange for a current email address.

So what do you offer as a freeby?

Well you can buy the resell rights to an ebook or a PLR and give it away, or if you have your own product, then you could give away the first chapter or a few secrets that are contained within the book.

Creating the box that people insert their name and email address is straight forward using Aweber.

If you don't know how to create a squeeze webpage, you can create a squeeze page using a free blog where you can also insert the boxes from Aweber.

My blog is from Blogger.com and you could also use WordPress.

Once you have your squeeze page ready you need to attract traffic to it.

And one of the easiest ways to attract free traffic is to use articles.

I've used article marketing now for over 6 months and each article I write brings 5- 10 visitors to my website or squeeze page every day.

Now, for some ebooks that I have, I write 10 different articles, and combined, the articles bring nearly 100 visitors to my site everyday!

Now, this is much cheaper than advertising using Google Adwords! But a lot of people don't bother with articles.

Here's what I do.

If I bought a PLR ebook or written one myself, I pick an interesting chapter, edit it down and submit the new shortened chapter as an article to a number of article sites.

At the bottom of the article I add a link that directs readers to either a squeeze page, website or blog.

It takes me about half an hour to submit a couple of articles and I try and do this at least twice a day.

How To Spy On Competitors PPC Campaigns

Pay Per Click (PPC) is Google's advertising system. On the search page of Google, you'll see adverts on the right hand side of the screen.

Now imagine if you could see exactly how much each advertiser is paying for their ads, what keywords they are bidding on etc.

Impossible?

NO.

It is possible to view your competitors PPC campaigns.

Which means you can see:

What keywords they are bidding on

How much is their daily spend

Their adverts

How many clicks they are getting each day

The position their ads are placed on Google

Andrew Reynolds and Tim Lowe Secrets

Since my last post about Andrew Reynolds' sales literature, a lot of readers have contacted me about Andrew Reynold's system and whether I could explain it in more detail.

Andrew currently promotes an opportunity called Cash on Demand.

This is a monthly course explaining how to create numerous cash on demand products.

These could be DVD's, CD's, ebooks or printed manuals and study courses.

The part of the system that you need to concentrate on is what he calls the "funnel Process".

And here's how it works:

You start off with a reasonably priced product - for example £67.00. This is called your front end product.

You market this product heavily to attract as many buyers as possible. You are not looking to make a profit on this product - breaking even would be a bonus - what you want to do is build up a database of RED HOT buyers.

So let's say, you managed to sell 1,000 of your front end products.

Next you mail the 1,000 buyers an offer of a resell licence for this product priced at £297.00. This enables the customer to sell the product themselves.

Now, because every one of the 1,000 recipients bought the manual, you have a much better chance of selling the licences.

From this mailing, you sell 35 licences.

Next you mail the 35 licence holders with an offer to become a master licence holder. This entitles them to sell the product, AND also sell resell licences for the product, plus you'll also add a bonus of an additional master licence product.

For this you charge £997.00 and sell 10 of these packages.

So let's see how much you would have taken in. We'll ignore the 1,000 front end sales and consider you broke even.

So you sold:

35 Resell licences = £10,395.00

10 Master licences = £9,997.00

Gross income = £20,365.00

Let's take off £1,000 for your marketing materials and postage, and you could have a profit of £19,365.00.

And this is just from 1,000 customers.

Now imagine if you continued with this process, constantly built up your database with different front end products and resell / master resell licences, you can see that within 12 months, you could be achieving Millionaire status!

Andrew Reynolds has over 25,000 customers, Tim Lowe has 15,000 customers, so you can see why both of them are Millionaires.

I've used this process myself for a number of years, and I'm in the fortunate position to be able to spend my time as I want - in fact I don't have to work again - if I don't want to.

Seriously consider this system, as it has proved time and again to be one of the easiest ways for the average person to become a Millionaire in a short space of time.

How to find the right keywords using the free Google keyword tool

When you create a Google adwords campaign, it is vitally important that the keywords you bid on are relevant to your website.

If they are not, Google will reduce your Quality Score, increase your PPC or simply not show your ad for non relevant keywords or keyword phases.

So what you need to do is bid on keywords / phases that ARE relevant to your website.

And the easiest way to do this is to use Google's free keyword tool.

The Best Tool To Hide (cloak) Your Affiliate Links

If you sell Clickbank products or other affiliate products, then there is always the problem of someone stealing your commission.

With Clickbank, if you promote a product, the URL will show your affiliate ID - known as your hop link.

So for example, if you promote a product called "onlinerichesuk.com", your affiliate link would show as "www.onlinerichesuk.com/hop = myaffiliatelink

To get around this problem, you use a link cloaker.

The best - and FREE - product that I've been using for over 12 months is Profit Protector.



The Profit Protector is a freeware HTML tool that generates HTML pages encapsulating (cloaking) your affiliate links in Javascript to protect them from abuse by thiefware. It also prevents the affiliate link from showing in the status bar of internet browsers.

It's very easy to use, you simply enter your affiliate link in the box, then it produces your cloaked link in the form of a HTML page.

You then upload this page onto your webspace.

So if your website was "www.mysite.co.uk"

You would log into your webspace using a FTP and create a new file - we'll call it "internetriches"

You then then upload the cloaked affiliate page into the new file and that's it.

Then, when you are promoting the product, your link will simple be: "www.mysite.co.uk/internetriches" and your affiliate link is hidden from prying eyes.

This is a marketing secret that not many people - especially here in the UK - know about.

It's easy to set up a WSO. You simply type your sales message in the WSO forum, pay $20 using paypal then post an announcement in the main discussion forum ... and then wait for the orders to come in.

It's best if your product is a downloadable product as you'll get orders from all over the World at all times of the day.

Also very important is to have a back end product available. You will be getting orders from people who are serious about making money online, and if your initial product is very good value - you over deliver - then you'll convert at least 40% into buying your back end (more expensive) product.

Using WSO is a great way to quickly build a list of hot prospects, a way of selling your products quickly and easily ... and if done well, a genuine way to make £1,000 per month.

There are a few products available that teach you a lot more about WSO, priced at around £10.00 they'll seem good value.

Why I Still Love Direct Mail

Over the past 12 months I've successfully created a number of online automated income streams that earn me money 24 hours a day.

One of my products - Rich Monkey has proved very successful ... and it should as I reveal a lot of hard to find secrets and techniques to create automated online income.

I've promoted this study course mostly using Google Adwords, and receive around 200 visits to my site per day.

From this, I sell 2 - 3 copies a day, which works out at a 1% response rate.

Let's say I sell 20 copies in a good week @£47 each = £940.00.

To achieve these sales, I spend £500.00 per week on Google Adwords.

This means I make a £440.00 gross profit.

The problem is that the keywords I use are becoming more expensive, some now cost over 60p per click compared to 10p a few months ago, and to achieve front page exposure is getting much more competitive.

So, I decided to have a go at promoting my website using direct mail.

I wrote a single sided A4 letter and sent it 2nd class to 1,000 people directing them to my website.

My cost for this was:

Postage - £240.00 (I get a discount as I have an account with Royal Mail)

Printing - £85.00

Envelopes - £28.00

List - £65.00

Total = £418.00

Now, I've just looked at my figures and 448 people visited my site and I made 21 sales - a near 5% response rate - this could be an exceptional one-off figure, but I don't know until I continue to test.

From this mailing, I made a gross profit of £569.00.

Now the reason my response rate was much higher is because people who received my direct mail letter, then made the effort to fire up their computer and visit my site. This means they are much more likely to order than compared to someone surfing online clicking a number of competing ads all in the space of a few minutes.

So my love-affair with direct mail has returned. Yes there is a little more effort involved and some lists will not be as responsive, but for the next few months I'm going to heavily use direct mail instead of Google Adwords and see which is the best method.

What Product Do I Sell?

It's a question that I'm sure many of you have asked yourself hundreds of times.

My best advice is to think of the last few items you bought online and see whether there are opportunities to sell them yourself.

Suppose you bought a book online. Now there is nothing stopping you from selling that book yourself using the Amazon affiliate program.

And with Amazon there are thousands of products that you can sell.

I sell - via Amazon - boxing gloves and sell a couple of pairs a week. I don't touch the product I simply make a few £'s from the sale of each pair of gloves.

And I do this with over 150 different products, a few of these I bought myself over the years and decided to sell them again.

This process is the same for ebooks.

This summer I was to be best man at a friends wedding.

I needed to write a good speech and so went online for a guide to help me.

Most of the stuff was more for the US market - very little for the UK market.

So I had to make a trip to my local Borders book shop and I bought a great book on best man's speeches.

Having read it cover to cover, I felt I knew how to write great speeches, so I decided to write a small guide to best man speeches for the UK market.

I now advertise this small guide at £12.00 and sell 3 - 5 copies per week. Since then I created a back end product - Best Man's Duties, and I've now got other related products:

These product ideas have simply come from when I was in the market for a speech guide book.

Another idea that I turned into an ebook was when I took my family for a weekend break in Norfolk.

We wanted to do a couple of interesting walks within a few miles from the hotel we were staying.

So I went online and found ... nothing!

So when I got to the hotel, I asked the receptionist for ideas for nice walks. She created a few interesting walks that we enjoyed so much, that I wrote a small guide on walks around the area of Norfolk where we stayed.

I included pictures of special interest, plants, flowers, trees, rivers etc and it is a nice guide. It sells for £7.00 and I've sold over 50 this year.

Now I won't go into more detail of this guide as some people will simply copy my idea, BUT I hope this gives you ideas for your next / first product to sell online.

Something Missing From Andrew Reynolds or Tim Lowe?

A number of people have been in touch with me about the possibility of a Joint Venture. They have acquired licences to sell DVD's - usually from either Andrew Reynolds or Tim Lowe.

Now, the problem purchasers have after they have bought licences for DVD's (costing upwards of £1,000), is that they are left to sell them on their own.

I won’t pretend that there is no work involved, or any
upfront capital required.

3. Purchase An Autoresponder

I wanted to build a list of customers and visitors to my site, so I
went to Aweber to purchase their autoresponder. This then enabled me to put a “pop over” box in my website and also a box where people can join my list and receive free information.

A list is very important for your success as you can launch new
products, request advice/ info and build a business relationship
with your subscribers.

I’ve meet a number of people via my list where we offer each other
help and advise and I’ll probably stay in touch with these people
for a long time.


4. Open An Adwords Account With Google.

I researched keywords for my product using these tools:

Once I had a list a good quality keywords, I created a number of ad
campaigns.

5. Wrote Articles And Created A Blog

Writing articles is an excellent way to attract free traffic to
your website. I wrote articles that related to my product and then
added my website address to the bottom of each article.

I still try and write five articles a week and submit them to a
number of article sites such as:

Article Alley

I also created a blog at Blogger and one at
Wordpress.

On these blogs I again added relevant information regarding my
product and had a link back to my website.


6. Repeated The Process

Once my first product was successful, I repeated the process and
created another product (income stream).

Since then I’ve now got over 100 of these income streams all
earning money 24 hours a day. Yes, I know there is a bit of work
involved, but once you start to see the income come in, it gives
you that incentive to create many more.

My London Trip

I've been away for a few days in London - visiting the sights and attending a friends wedding.

In fact, we managed to catch Will Young rehearsing for the Olympic hand-over concert at Buckingham Palace on the Friday night.

While at the wedding I meet a guy who also runs his own business. We discussed business over the meal and I learnt one or two secrets.

Firstly, I learnt that he runs a carpet business ... and makes over £100,000 per year.

What he does is target new-build property. He leaflets the properties and receives 3 - 4 leads a week.

He then visits the owners, shows them his carpet samples, takes orders and orders the carpet from his supplier.

He then employs a couple of carpet fitters to fit the carpet. His whole business revolves around his leaflet drop.

This is a form of direct mail and it works incredibly well for him.

I use direct mail myself. I write a single sided A4 letter which directs readers to my website.

This is much more cost-effective than using Google Adwords, and I get much more targeted traffic.

I use this method to build lists. I create a small guide on a particular subject that is free for anyone who opts in to my list.

I rent a mailing list, send an A4 letter to the list directing them to my squeeze page, and receive 100+ opt ins from every 1,000 letters I send.

I can then market my products to these people.

If you haven't already used this method, seriously think about it for the future.

An Army Of Sales Reps

Do you know what one of the most frequent questions I get asked is?

It’s this one: “Rob, what’s the best way to make money on the internet”.

The reality is you can make a lot of money on the internet. But, like everything else, you need to learn how to do it and follow a successful system.

It will also mean that you'll probably make mistakes – we all do from time to time - probably more than once.

So what I want to do is give you my formula that I use for different niche markets that I’m involved in.

Now the method I’m about to describe is only useful if you are interested in selling 'information products'.

I've been earning solely off the internet for nearly 3 years now. I make about £8,000a month from selling my own products and using affiliates to sell my products, I also sell other people’s products as an affiliate.

A new product, start to finish, will take me about a month to create, including researching the market, setting up a website and writing the ebook.

I'll sell each product at anywhere between £7.00 and £497.00, but usually the average price is £47.00.

The first month of launch I'll expect sales of about £10,000, of which over 50% will go to my affiliates. After that, it diminishes but it'll still keep selling. And by then I've got the next product ready, so I do it all again. You can see the way that the residual sales build up, month by month, that you can keep earning from one product with no effort. Because I usually sell ebooks I have no cost of delivery and I can satisfy orders immediately - automatically.

So here’s what you need to do.

One of the classic internet markets, that is often used as an example is Golf. And it’s a big market with many people prepared to spend a lot of money.

Now, imagine there’s an ebook product, called 'The Perfect Putt'.

If it's your own ebook you will sell it under that name. If you are selling it under an 'affiliate scheme' (Clickbank for example) you will probably also sell it under that name (and give your affiliates a share – usually 50% - of the sale price). Or if it’s a PLR, you could re-brand it and create your own unique product to sell yourself or using affiliates.

You will make the most money if it is something you own that is sold through affiliates, this is because you harness other people to sell for you, therefore you incur no marketing costs. The best place to find affiliates to sell your product is at Clickbank.

So where do you get products from. Well if you can’t write an ebook from scratch – and most people find it difficult - then the best and cheapest option is to use PLR’s – Public Label Rights.

These are either ebooks, articles or reports where you can modify, add links, add pictures and call it whatever name you want, in other words treat it as though you wrote it yourself.

I use PLR’s all the time. I buy loads, re-brand them, add affiliate and direct links to my own products and either sell the new PLR product or give it away and make money from the links.

So where do you get quality PLR’s from? There are cheap ones available that sell for pennies, but you really need brand new PLR’s that have not already been sold to death online.

For example, I might want an ebook about making money from ebay. So I look through my files, find one that I really like, add affiliate links to other ebay products that I’ve found on Clickbank, give it a memorable name, get a cover designed and then give it away on forums, blogs, articles or within my newsletter.

I then encourage people to pass the product onto their own customers, friends, colleagues and forums.

Within a short time, this product has been downloaded hundreds of times, is all over the web, and I start to make money from my affiliate links.

This income is ongoing, in fact the longer I wait the more I seem to make.

Selling Your Product Using Affiliates

If you want to make money from affiliates selling the product rather than giving it away, then you need to sign up with Clickbank.

You need to create a website sales letter, and a download page for buyers to access the ebook and insert the code that clickbank gives you for making a purchase, then you are more or less ready – it really is as simple as that.

Affiliates who sell your product expect to receive at least 50% of the sale price. What I sometimes do is give 75% of the sale price to encourage as many affiliates as possible to sell the product – a bit like an army of sales reps working for me.

Clickbank do everything for you, they take the payments, send the commission cheques to your affiliates and send you a cheque every two weeks.

Some sellers create an affiliates page on their site giving email messages and other tools for affiliates to use to sell the product.

Have a look at other sellers and see what tools/info they provide for their affiliates.

This is one of the best methods for making a regular income online. I’ve been doing this for 3 years now and earn £8,000 per month.

Using Video Within Your Website

I started to add video to my websites at the beginning of 2008. Since then, my conversions and sales have almost doubled. It is amazing that a simple video can have such an impact. One of my most successful videos is one where I take the viewer into my paypal account to prove that I earn good money online.

This video was created using camtasia, yes it is a little pricey, but the increase in sales that video produces more than covers the initial cost of the software.

You can also create videos to accompany ebooks, and what a lot of marketers are doing now is rather than write a long sales letter, they simply record a video describing the benefits of their product.

If you haven't tried video within your sales letter, I would certainly recommend you give it a try.

Where It All Happens

A tidy office is a happy office!

I constantly battle to keep my office tidy. Just when it is looking organised, a whole load of post arrives with correspondence and before I know it I'm back to square one!

What with DVD's, CD's, folders, manuals, receipts, statements and a load of other stuff that I've collected over the years, I'm fast out-growing the office.



Here's a picture of my relatively tidy office. I use two computers with a couple of monitors so that I can work offline and online at the same time, I've a small laser printer, a fax machine, scanner, telephone and a photocopier all fighting for space within the 10 x 8 ft office space.

It's a great feeling creating your own income online - I'd recommend it to everyone ... however try to work in a tidy space as you can be much more productive.

The £100,000 Idea

Andrew Reynolds is a UK based entrepreneur who earns millions every year - You may have heard of him before?

He started his business back in the nineties selling videos and study courses. Then he progressed on to mentoring and finally seminars.

He currently sells the Cash on Demand monthly study course which teaches you how to create a mail order and online business selling products such as DVD's and ebooks.

He recently started his own TV infomercial channel on Sky 682 which sells the Cash on Demand course.

I was looking on his website this week - www.andrew-reynolds.com and he reports that his latest seminar in Brighton has just raised over £480,000 for the charity: Make a Wish.

An amazing amount of money for the charity which came from the delegates who paid over £100.00 each to attend.

In fact there were over 4,000 attendees who were there to listen to Andrew and his other guests talk about all sorts of making money related subjects.

And this got me thinking. I'm assuming Andrew must have a customer list of well over 20,000 names.

A huge number of these customers are hoping to start a cash on demand type business.

Which means they are in the market for products to sell.

Let's say there are currently 15,000 people in the UK all actively looking for new products to sell right now.

If the right product came along they would willingly pay for a licence to sell the product.

Now, imagine you created a study course or ebook and then started offering the licence for £497.00.

Do you realise that you only need to sell that licence to 203 people out of 15,000 to make £100,000.

Incredible to think, but with a realistically priced licence for a study course or ebook, and a realistic number of customers, you could earn £100,000.

So how do you go about earning £100,000?

Well firstly you need a product to licence.

If you have one already - great, however it must be original and one which YOU created - not a product that you bought a licence for.

If you don't have a product and feel that creating one would be too much work, then you can get it created for you.

There are two places to get this done:

You are looking for a unique product, for ideas, what I do is check the top sellers at www.clickbank.com, I even buy one or two of the products and try to come up with a similar product idea.

The product needs to be around 100 - 200 pages in length written in MS Word format or similar, featuring images and even videos - depending on your budget.

Once you have a subject in mind, post this job on either or both sites and wait for the offers to come.

Expect to pay around £500 - £1,000.

I know this is a lot of money, however think of the possible rewards that could follow.

Even if you paid, £1,000 for your product, I'm sure you could get that back very easily with a couple of licence sales.

Then once you've got your product, you need sales literature and a website.

If you can create these yourself then great.

If not, it's back to elance or rentacoder to get them created for you.

Once you have everything, you can promote the licence in a number of ways:

Google adwords

Your own list

Rented list - for direct mail campaigns, try www.hilitedms.co.uk who look after all the top customer lists such as Andrew Reynolds, Tim Lowe, Streetwise Marketing and even my own customer list.

A JV - I might be interested myself in promoting your product, if not contact a few top internet marketeers and see if they are interested.

Now, I know this involves a lot of work and a large amount of capital ... but who said earning £100,000 was going to easy!

And just a final thought, imagine you created your first product and sold 200 licences and earned £100,000, there is nothing stopping you doing it again and again!

Do it five times and you'll more or less be a millionaire!

Google Release Monthly Keyword Search Numbers

This month Google finally released a tool that provides search number results for keywords.

Since then I've used a number of free keywords search tools, however, being based in the UK, they tended to give me search number results for Google US.

Now, I can finally see keyword search numbers for Google UK.

It's a great tool for creating keyword rich sites and adword campaigns.

The Joys Of Camping

It's been a couple of weeks since I last updated my blog ... and that's because I've just return from a camping holiday in France.

So Charlotte (the wife), me and our two boys packed the car and set off for Dover last Friday evening. Having endured 4 hours on the M25, another hour trying to cross the Dartford Bridge we finally arrived at the Travel Lodge in Dover ready for our 9.50am crossing the next morning.

I still never get used to the crossing, even having taken two motion sickness tablets, however 80 minutes later we arrive at Calais.

Another five hours down the motorway and we finally arrive at the site - just south of Paris - checked in, set up the tent (not that easy when the two boys are running around playing) and then tried to find a local shop to buy some food - yes I know experienced campers aways pack food to take with them ...

Anyway, apart from the mosquitoes, the hot tent, the wet towels ... and the toilet block, we all had a great time.

So what has all this got to do with internet marketing? Well, while I was away from my computer - no internet at the camp site - my business ran on auto-pilot.

Everything is set up to run 24 hours a day, the adverts are all in place, the autoresponder messages are all loaded, and the products can be download automatically by my customers.

We now take this for granted, but just a few years ago when I ran a direct mail business, I hated taking holidays as my business would literally grind to a halt.

Orders would be waiting to be dispatched, mailing campaigns would be put on hold ... and no money was made.

So, the question you need to ask yourself is this: If you go on holiday this year, will your business grind to a holt, or will you return and discover income in your account that was earned while you were away?

Look at all aspects of your business and see what you can automate.

Autoresponders are a fantastic creation - I use Aweber - messages are loaded up in Aweber to be sent on a daily basis, income is transferred directly into my paypal account and the customer downloads the product.

If you can set your business to run like this, you'll enjoy your holiday just that little bit more.

And it's a great feeling to return home, turn on your computer and discover a couple of thousand pounds was earned while you were away.

Oh, and BTW, we enjoyed camping so much ... we are off to Holland in late August for another camping holiday!

Yes, a big list, but once I created my first site – and it started to make money – I just couldn’t stop. Now I create a different niche site every day or so … whenever an idea comes to me.

I spend time looking in WH Smith at the magazine and book section for ideas on niche subjects.

I buy cheap books / magazines (less that £10.00) just so that I can create a basic site that’ll earn me money.

And How Do I Make Money From These Sites?

Three ways:

I also collect email address from some of the niche sites where I can then market other products and services.

Each site brings in approx £10.00 per week – not a lot I agree … however, with 150 (and rising) sites, it adds up to around £1,500 per week!

And once the sites are built, they are left to run and earn money.

To build a site, I use Xsite Pro as I can create a site within an hour using this great software.

I research the keywords for each subject using a free keyword tool such as:

Then I pick 5 good keywords or search terms that have plenty of (100+) daily searches and spread them around within the content of each site.

I write some information on each niche subject – usually picked up from a book, magazine or online.

The Best Sales Letter Headlines To Copy

Writing good sales copy makes or breaks a promotion.

I get asked all the time how to write sales letters, and there is no easy route, you simply have to practice.

My advice to people is to study the successful sales letters that you can see at www.clickbank.com and try to write a similar style letter.

The best letters are the ones at the top of the list - the best sellers. Now there must be a reason why these sales letters are doing so well.

Gradually you'll see that the successful letters are written in a very similar style, contain good copy, graphics and use colour.

Take your time to study a few letters and gradually you'll be able to write your own sales letters.

One of the most important aspects to any successful sales letter is the headline.

It needs to be attention grabbing so compelling the reader to continue down the page ... and hopefully to purchase the product.

Now headlines are hard to create, however, I save time by using a swipe file of successful headlines that have been compiled from successful sales letters.

Everytime I write a sales letter I simply look through the swipe file, pick out a headline to use and tweak it so it suits the topic of my sales letter.

How To Build A List Of Subscribers Within 45 Days

Here’s one of the biggest mistakes many people new to IM make.

They start off by promoting a product to earn affiliate commission. This product - usually a clickbank ebook- is then promoted by creating Google Adwords which sends paid-for traffic direct to the product sales literature … and then keeping their fingers crossed hoping that a good number buy the product … earning them maybe £12.0
($24.00) per affiliate sale.

What’s more, many so-called IM gurus actually recommend this method of earning money online. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that you’ll not make money this way - many people do and are quite happy - what I want to do is change the way you look at making money online.

The most important point is to look at making money online as a long-term venture where you first lay the foundations and gradually build upon your early work.

This means that when you first start out, you don’t look to make sales, you concentrate on building.

This was one of the best pieces of advice that I received when I first started selling online back in 2007, and it has enabled me to earn £1,000+ ($2,000+) per week online.

If you want to earn the biggest amount of money online, then the most effective way to achieve this is by list building.

Whatever niche you are involved in, your ultimate aim is to build a subscriber list and nurture it.

If you spend your time building a list instead of acquiring sales, in the long-term you’ll make much more money.

So instead of sending traffic - whether it be paid-for or organic (seo) - direct to an affiliate sales page, you need to send traffic to a squeeze page and then to the merchants sales page.

It’s the same if you write an article or have links for affiliate products on blogs or on a squidoo lens, you replace the link with a squeeze page link where you’ll collect visitors information, and then send them to the affiliate merchants sales page.

Doing this allows you to build up a relationship with your subscribers and you can gradually encourage them to purchase the product that you were linking to.

At first you’ll make less sales using this method as opposed to sending traffic direct to the sales page, but you’ll build up a valuable list that over time, you can sell your own products, affiliate products and get involved in Joint Ventures.

I know of three successful online marketers who never advertise their products. They spend all their efforts on building their lists, then sending some free information over a two week period (nurturing), then sending them details of one of their products … and repeating the process over over.

Every month they each make over £5,000 ($10,000) using this method and it all runs on autopilot.

Each of their messages are sent automatically, their products are downloadable meaning they don’t need to deal with sales - just bank the money.

So I hope I’ve convinced you that list building is the way to go for long-term online riches.

So your next step is to actually start to build up your list.

The methods I’m going to describe to you enabled me to add over 1,000 names to my list within 45 days, so copy everything I’ve done and you too should be able to build a substantial list.

Firstly, you need a email responder service that collects all your subscribers, allows you to send them messages and allows the subscriber to change their details, or op out of your list and ensures the subscriber double opt-in to protect you from accusations of spamming.

Double opt-in simply means the subscriber filled out their details on the squeeze page, and then confirmed their subscription within a separate email message.

There are four services that are the best for these functions.

I use Aweber for my lists and messages as it is said to be the best available for delivery and reliability, so everything I describe applies to Aweber, however the other services provide a very similar service.

Your next step is create a squeeze page that will be used to build up your list.

This will be a page that collects a subscribers name and email address and will then forward them onto a sales page or simply a thank you page.

Here’s an example of one of my squeeze pages:

If you take a look at my squeeze page it contains the following:

1. An attention grabbing heading
2. A list of benefits that the subscriber will receive if they subscribe
3. Boxes for the subscriber to enter their details

Remember you are trying to build up your email list, so take your time creating the squeeze page.

You need to make your offer so irresistible that people will instantly subscribe to your list.

To do this, rather than simply send the subscriber to a sales page, I offer some information, report or ebook.

Now the easiest way to do this is to buy a cheap ebook from ebay.co.uk with resell rights and give this away in exchange for someone subscribing to your list.

For example, your niche could be the car service market.

So you go to ebay purchase an ebook on easy home car servicing and offer this as your free ebook.

I do this all the time. I’ve hundreds of ebooks in my files and I simply create a squeeze page offering free ebooks whenever someone subscribers.

So, to recap,

1. You’ve decided which email list responder service you’ll use - I use aweber.com
2. You’ve created your squeeze page
3. You’ve got the free information ready to give away to your subscribers

Now what you need to do is insert the boxes in your squeeze page where your subscribers can place their name and address.

In Aweber, you simply create a list name - for example Car Service, and then you go to “list settings” then “web form” and you can create a form.

It only needs to be a basic form that contains “First Name” and “Email Address”.

Aweber has a default “thank you” page whenever someone subscribers.

What I do is create my own thank you page telling the subscriber that they will receive an email straight away and that they need to confirm their subscription so that I can send them the free information.

I paste this URL in the thank you section, so now whenever anyone subscribes, they are sent to this page.

Once you’ve created the form, copy the script into your squeeze page.

Now what you need to do is put the ebook on another page within your website, and copy the URL for this ebook.

For example: www.mysite.co.uk/freebook.html

Then you go back to your email list service and create your first message. Remember to include the URL for the free ebook.

So your first message will say something like:

And that’s it, you’ve created your squeeze page and set up your email service responder.

Now it’s onto driving traffic to your squeeze page.

There are a number of ways in which you can drive traffic to your squeeze page.

The obvious ones are setting up Google adwords and directing visitors to your squeeze page, or from offline advertising such as press adverts.

However, what I want to reveal to you are the free ways in which you can direct traffic to your site.

Here are my 13 top ways to create free traffic to your squeeze page:

1. Write and submit articles to the article directories with a link back to your squeeze page such as ezinearticles.com

2. Leave comments on other people’s blogs with a backlink to your squeeze page.

3. Post in forums and have a link to your squeeze page in your signature.

4. Write a press release and submit it to www.PRWeb.com.

5. Advertise your website in the appropriate category on www.CraigsList.com.

6. Give an unbiased testimonial on a product/service that you have used in exchange for a backlink to your squeeze page.

7. Start a blog that mentions your squeeze page at www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com and submit it to the 100’s of free blog directories.

8. Manually submit your wsqueeze page URL to the major search engines.

9. Optimize each of your squeeze pages for a particular keyword or search phrase.

10. Add a link in your email signature to your squeeze page. It’s a free and easy way to get a little more traffic.

11. Submit a video with your squeeze page link contained within the video to www.YouTube.com

12. Place classified ads on www.eBay.co.uk with a link to your squeeze.

13. Start a lens on www.Squidoo.com. and mention your squeeze page.

I use every one of these traffic generator methods and receive 100's of free traffic per week to my different squeeze pages which enables me to collect 100 - 200 email addresses per week.

Follow my methods and you'll start to build a very profitable list that will reward you over and over again.

Remember, don't start trying to sell to your list, gradually nurture it, give away lots of free information and ebooks, and then once you are ready to sell a product, your list will be much more receptacle to all your offers.

A very important part of Internet Marketing is tracking so to find out where your traffic is coming from.

Once you have followed the steps you can generate the code specifically for a blogger blog, just copy the code given to you, go back to blogger and in the layout tab select "add a page" element then select "HTML/Javascript" option and you just paste your code there and hey presto you now have a whole host of stats to play with.

Another important part of internet marketing is tracking your clicks.

Go to http://www.pinurl.com.

What this service does is enable you to create links to the product you are promoting this way you can hide your affiliate id's and instead have a link in your blog like

http://pinurl.com/how_to_train_your_dog.

This will also give you information on how many people have clicked the link.

Ok everything is setup this just leaves content and traffic generation.

If you are thinking what content can I put on my blog I have 3 words for you CONTENT IS EVERYWHERE, seriously the internet is so full of content you can never run out especially if it is a market that you have an interest in.

Just make sure that whatever you post on the blog it is related to the product you are promoting and not telling everyone what you had for dinner last night.

Little tip that you should follow: make sure you have your affiliate link in the top left corner as it is the most viewed and most clicked part of the blog. So if you create a little adwords style ad for the product you are promoting then there is the place to put it.
